I have a very odd shape cage and I was hesitant to buy this product ar first as I did not know if it would fit in the opening with the tray. My birds cage has an edge underneath the door and similar models of feeders had the underneath tray pushed back leaving a gap and the seeds shells falling in between.
This bird feeder has a smaller tray therefore it fits perfectly.
The cons: the assembly, the pictures on the instructions sheet are not very clear.
The pros: The tray is not a sliding drawer, you need to pinch it for it to detach, once in place, it does not move at all.
The plastic is thick and high quality.
I am a canary breeder and I have been trying different types of bird feeders and this one is the best by far . first it saves lots of time feeding the birds because you do it only one a week second it saves food because of the design and 3rd is very clean no mess in the floor or the cage . I replace all of my feeders with this one about 18 triple cages .

It was kind of difficult to put it together but the unit is good for what is worth.
the feeder was very good, but pretty difficult to put together based on the instructions.my birds love it and use it as much as the other feeder in their cage. the feeder is especially well made and easily catches empty seed hulls and all good seeds so they aren't wasted. also, it doesn't have to be cleaned as much because the birds don't just stand and poop in it. all in all the feeder is outstanding and I would highly recommend it.
I love this feeder. I needed to get my husband to put it together, but only because I'm, shall we say, spatially challenged. It's not hard. The design is excellent and it's well-made. It works beautifully to catch the hulls and dispenses just the right amount of food, so I'm not throwing away good seed with the hulls. Best of all, my birds don't sit in it and poop in it like they did my last feeder, so I don't have to clean it every other day! I'm going to get another one and see if I can convince my parakeets to eat out of it, if it's big enough for them.
Excellent STURDY hanging hooks, better than all other seed hopper or vacation (M050) feeders that I have. A little hard to put together; but excellent well made, ingenious product. I recommended it highly to all my finch friends!
This product is made in Italy, and the assembly guide is basically a picture illustration on how to put it together. After you figured that out, and you will see that the quality of the plastic is good and is not flimsy. My finches took a few days to get used to this feeder. I think my finches like it.
